Followers of Jesus are known by their names… in fact, their names are written in the Lamb’s book of life!
Revelation 21:27 But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Luke 10:20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
Not only did Jesus die on the cross to restore our broken relationship, He knows us. Jesus knows each one of us by name. He cares for each one of us individually. Those who have committed their lives to be disciples, also have the names recorded in heaven. God has a keen interest about each one of us, so much, that He personally records each person’s name in the book of life when they follow Jesus. Some people want their names on a New York Times best-seller. I will gladly settle for my name being written in the book of life in glory!
