Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.
Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Grace is often described as unmerited favor. We receive something of value we don’t deserve. God’s unmerited favor toward us both saves us and enables us to live for Christ. God’s grace is unlimited – there is always more than what we will ever need – yet provided to us only in proportion as we need it. What a blessing to know that God will enable us to face whatever lies ahead when the time comes. Today, take some time to reflect on ways you have experienced God’s abundant grace in the past and the promise that He will always do so in the future – what a blessing!
